Cochrane and Celli Chevrolet Dealership, Oakland CA in the 1960's and early 1970's

Would anybody happen to have any information on who purchased and specifically if records might still be available for the Cochrane and Celli Chevrolet Dealership, in Oakland CA in the 1960's and early 1970's. I grew up in the burbs new Oakland and have a 1968 car from their dealership I would love to get to look at the options it came with. Appreciate any leads or contact info or if somebody has access to the Chevy Archives and can pull up my Vin and send me a copy.

I don't know that anyone actually purchased the Cochran & Celli dealership which was still in business until just several years ago. I think it either just closed down or, perhaps, lost its franchise during the dealership "shake-out" following the GM bankruptcy. Another dealer has "risen from the ashes" and is located not too far from where Cochran and Celli was once located on Broadway in Oakland. That dealer is called Bay City Chevrolet. Would they have any of the old Cochran & Celli records. I HIGHLY doubt it, but you could call them.

I think Cochrane and Celli went out in the 70's/ You are correct that Bay City Chev is nearby now but there was two Chev dealerships inbetween these two. I already spoke to the GM of Bay City Chev and he was upfront that they had no records from Cochrane and Celli.

Too Bad, I have a 1966 from Chochrane and Celli. They obtained the car in a dealer trade from Courtesy Chevrolet in San Jose Ca.
