Anyone know where this is located? Also does anyone have any ideas on tracking down who the original owner may have been on a 67 vette. I,m trying to see if I can get the protecting plate if the original owner is still around

Per the Dealer Zones and Codes database, https://www.ncrs.org/dealercodes.php
Zone 11 is generally Illinois and has more entries than any other Zone I have looked at.
Almost every Dealer Code no. is shown, but not 511...... hummm.

What do you mean by the shipping data report? I got the zone and dealer number off the build sheet. The build sheet also has a identification number??

It also has an order number

if Mark will allow me to answer for him,
the shipping data report service is one of the club's historic documents services you will find here.

https://www.ncrs.org/services.php

You provide your VIN, and for $40, the club will research records and provide a letter to you showing the original dealer your car was shipped to,
which likely will be the original selling dealer.
Since you have the build sheet for your car, you might want to have it validated as original by the club too.
These services can be found in the drop down menu under Member Services in the tool bar right under the 53 vette at top of this page.

Thx for the information. I hope this is the lead I am looking for. How did you find this information? I looked up the dealer and currently there is a Sullivan-Parkhill Chevrolet dealer in Champaign Ill.; however, i do see the address is different.

I have an extensive database I have accumulated over the years. I'm sure Sullivan has moved since the early to mid 60's, that's why I included the ad with their original address. I have that same address in my database for 1966 and 1968.
