Deaker-Graves Mtr. Co., Gouverneur, NY?

My 67's POP says the car was delivered on 7-8-67, in Gouverneur, NY. The booklet was filled in by either Leo R. Knight or a representative of Deaker-Graves Mtr. Co. Whoever filled it in had a flair for cursive capital letters and I'm guessing at the dealer representative name and the first letter in the dealer name. Is there a comprehensive list of dealers in the 60's?

Hi Steve,I don't recall the Chevrolet dealer in Governeur but it is a small town in upstate New York. I used to travel thru there from 1968 to 72 on my way to Potsdam where I went to college. I see you are on the other coast, but if you were to get to NY, I bet you could find someone in that town that recalls such a car, as that would have been a rarity. You might try contacting the library in Governeur, for a 1967 yellow pages ad for the dealer. then also check the listing for folks of the dealers name in the town. My Dad was the Buick district sales manager and knew all the buick dealers up there, most were local folks, who had releatives in other business's in the area.Hope this is of some help.Bill N
