    Milner Chevrolet, St. Louis

Anyone have anything on them? I've mostly found an old lawsuit against them on the internet. Shipping report shows they sold my 71 Steel Cities Gray LT-1 convertible. It's #2485--built right after the fall 1970 strike.
    Thanks!

Looks like Milner moved around a lot, they left Delmar Blvd. in 1960. I believe they moved out in St.Louis North County area at Hwy 367 & Parker Rd, that was their last location before they closed up for good. If you Google Earth you will see there building and lot. They were a big dealership here in town.

        Mike--
Thanks! I went to school at Concordia Seminary in Clayton, back in 69-73, and remember shopping Milner as well as others for a new Chevelle when my 64 Impala SS convertible was stolen across from Forest Park. Didn't remember where they were, but didn't think they were on Delmar, because the agency we rented our apartment from was on Delmar. Thanks for the help!

When you lived in Clayton do you remember Barford Chevrolet ? How about Packe Chevrolet, Merollis Chevrolet, Feld Chevrolet, the only one that I think that is still left from back in the day is Johnny Londoff Chevrolet and they're still in the same location after all these years.

I remember all but Placke. Bradford, feld, and Londoff are the ones I remember best. If I recall correctly, Feld also had a location in Kansas City.

Placke was located on Kingshighway down by the old Sears store not to far from Barnes Hospital.
