Hello Folks

Looking for any information regarding Hill Chevrolet in Huntsville, AL. I have a 1975 coupe that was purchased from that dealer. The built date is December 13, 1974. Red car with beige interior. Base motor car, auto, T/T, A/C. VIN # 1Z37J5S408061. Anyone have information on this vehicle would appreciate the help.

I did find a listing for this dealer, but my records show they disolved in September of 1969. Might try a search for Archie W. Hill Jr. I believe he would have been the owner / president.

Just noticed this thread & can add to your data on this dealer.... unfortunately not the specific car. Hill Chevrolet was a long time dealer located on Green Street in Huntsville . Sometime around '64-'65 it moved to corner Pratt & Washington Street . I ordered my '66 from there in Dec. '66 & it was delivered early Feb. '67. The dealership was sold ( probably at the Sept. '69 date) & became Royal Chevrolet . I don't know what became of Royal;but, the building was later demolished to make way for I565 crossing Huntsville. The Sales Manager I remember there was Bill Bitting . Good luck
