Sausman Chevrolet
Anyone remember Sausman Chevrolet 717 Market Street Lemoyne, PA. Dealer Code 496 in Zone 49. I recently received my Shipping Data Report from NCRS for $45.00. Unfortunately NCRS cannot confirm the dealer because as Roy Sinor stated on the report NO DEALER INFORMATION AVAILABLE BELIEVED TO BEGIN WITH S IN PA. On the NCRS website if you look up the dealer code # 496 Zone 49 it states SAUSMAN CHEVROLET INFORMATION SUPPLIED FROM ORIGINAL 1966 CHEVROLET WARRANTY BOOK ARCHIVED BY JIM CLEMENS CORVETTE. Roy Sinor has informed me that he needs more proof before he will put the dealer Sausman Chevrolet on my Shipping Data Report. If anyone has an original POP or window sticker, tank sticker etc... that would document Sausman Chevrolet as this Code 496 / Zone 49 I would greatly appreciate the info...
Doing some research I did find a statement stating that Sausman Chevrolet in Lemoyne, PA was a high end dealer that specialized in big block cars, muscle cars, corvettes etc.. My 1966 is a 427/425 and I thought that was a neat look into some of the cars history.
