Re: Madisons Chevrolet, Scottsdale, Az
I don't have much on them. Looks like they became Madison's in November of 1963 when the name changed from Paradise Motors. Looks like Madison's closed around May of 1980. Wish I could get you more thasn that.Tom Hendricks

Found this address on the Supercar Registry website:
Madisons Chevrolet
7224 E. McDowell Rd.
Scottsdale, Arizona
The posting said a Mr. Ray Korte purchased the Chevy franchise, then many years later sold to Bill Heard.
That's all I could find. Good luck.....

Re: Madisons Chevrolet, Scottsdale, Az
Hello from a new member here..
Just got my official Shipping Data Report for my 1967 Lynndale blue 390hp A/C Coupe. It came from Madisons Chevrolet as well.
Interesting coincidence: my GM production date of 02/13/67 - exactly two years after the '65 Vette that started this thread!
Think I'll do some more dealer research next January when I'm down in Scottsdale for all the car auctions....
Now the fun begins! CharlieCharlie C.

Re: Madisons Chevrolet, Scottsdale, Az
I remember looking at one of the first big blocks at that dealership in the early summer of 1965. It was silver with a black interior and the best looking car I had ever seen. This was two years before I could drive.- Top

Re: Madisons Chevrolet, Scottsdale, Az
I received a shippers report on my 65 396 Roadster, it was purchased from Madison Chevrolet in Scottsdale also. It sounds like the dealership became Korte Chevrolet then Heard Chevrolet and closed up in the Heard bankruptcy in 2008. The hunt begins for a Madison License frame.- Top
