All these years I thought my tattered tank sticker was pointing to a small dealership in Ransomville, NY. I even quizzed the 90 year old former owner of the place a few years back. Thanks to NCRS services, I know now that my 1967 yellow Coupe (390HP) was actually delivered to Klem Chevy in Webster, NY. (Code 370 in Zone 12). This is located NE of downtown Rochester, NY.
I have also been told that and early owner (possibly the first owner) was an Italian woman who drove the car daily in Rochester. Lots of high heel punches on the bottom of the original door panel seem to agree... So far, I have not been able to identify this woman. I have yet to find someone who remembers the car at the Chevrolet dealer in Webster. I found it in the 70s in Lockport, NY.
I recently placed an ad in the Driveline. That should appear later in 2011. If you can help me find early information about my Corvette, please call 810 338 0307 (Tom Dingman)
THANKS!
