Got my shipping data report which confirms that my 68 corvette bronze (#20502) L71 Coupe (car is now red btw and undergoing full restoration to get in back in its original glory) was delivered on 5/27/1968 to capitioned dealer in Chicago.

From the internet it appears that more Chevy's are delivered to that place (so assume a larger dealership back then??), that they were also in business in the 40s and 50s. Address is 1036 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL 60610.

Any leads, pictures, stories etc on that dealership are highly appreciated!

It looks as if today there is still a (BMW) dealership named Perillo BMW.

Looks like they started in 1946 and at some point changed their name to Action Chevrolet. It appears they disolved in the 80's.

I will PM you a name and address of the listed president. maybe you can track him down.
