Daoust Chevrolet Corvette

I received my shipping report and my car was originally sold by Daoust Chevrolet in Marysville Ca.
Information I have found to date is that the dealership was located at [FONT='Arial','sans-serif'] 529 5th St, Marysville, California, 95901 There is currently a dodge dealership at the address, I called there and was told that Daoust Chevrolet has been gone for a long time.[/font]

I am searching to see if anyone on this board worked there or new of the dealership, or even bought their Corvette form Daoust.
My car is a yellow/black 365 HP 4 speed convertable. I guess I would be really lucky if someone from the area might remember the car.

Hey George ! Looks like they formed in 1962. Might want to do a search for Edward Daoust. If he's still around............ he's the man. Might be able to solve some mysteries for ya !

Thank you for the response. I found an email address for Edward Daoust and sent him an email last week. I got back an instant email filter requesting me to complete a survey form, in which I gave a quick explanantion of why I was contacting him.
Unfortunately I have not heard back from him. I will try again in a couple of days, but right now it is looking like a dead end. I found another name that seems to be associated with Daoust Chevrolet, the name is William S. Menchini, but I can't find any email address for him.
