Just received my report regarding my 70. It was delivered to John Smith Co. in Atlanta, GA. The dealer code is 574 in zone 8.
Is there anyone who is familiar with this dealership?
Would appreciate any information.

Filed for business on May the 13th of 1963.

Address listed is 141 W. Wieuca Rd. NE #104

John E. Smith II is listed as CEO, CFO and secretary. Same address.

That is all I was able to locate on initial seaches.

Maybe John E. Smith II is still around. he's your man !!

Google Earth shows a building at that address, but it doesn't appear to be a dealership.

I had my Suburban fixed at John Smith Co in 1991. The company was located at 2155 Cobb Parkway SE in Smyrna GA which is a close in Atlanta suburb. The service invoice for John Smith Co called them "The Old Reliable". It further states "established in 1869". Obviously they were not always an automobile company. I'm thinking that this is the same company that at one time was located on W Wieuca Rd (or the corporate office was located there). The same Cobb Parkway address is now Steve Rayman Chevrolet (770) 953-0100. Jerry
