Owner history for 65 Fuelie

Seeking owner history for Nassua Blue 1965 Fuelie known to have been sold new in San Diego at Guaranty Chevrolet probably delivered Feb-March, 1965. Dealer code 183 Zone 34.

Options were Black leather, power windows and tele-column. I have owned this car since November 1993. Previous owner was John V. Johnson Jr. and he purchased car in Chicago area in May of 1977. Production date was January 23, 1965. Car was painted metallic Gold sometime in 70's. I have completed a 10 year frame off restoration of this car and would appreciate any info available. If you think you have any knowledge of this car please let me know.

Car is a coupe. I recently was able to contact previous owner John Johnson (1976-1993). He put me in contact with the guy he purchased car from. His name was Mike Cenni in Kenosha, Wisconsin and he purchased car in 1974. Car was painted gold and did have six tail lights when Mike purchased the car. It also had a black tuck & roll headliner and the trim around windshield had been chromed. Both gentlemen indicated car was purchased new by a sailor stationed in San Diego Feb of 1965. Mike could not remember name of individual he got the car from however he was living in Rockford IL at the time and was working at Nuclear power plant. I stripped the car to bare fiberglass before we painted it and I found no signs of body damage. Both fellows promised to send photo's of the car back when they owned it. It was really fun hearing stories about the old car and both guys were really excited to find it had been restored to it's original factory spec's.
