Hi,
The NCRS Shipping data report has my car being delivered to Banks Chevrolet in Concord, NH. in May 1963. Their website shows that it is still family owned. Does anyone on the DB have a relationship with the Banks family that could inquire about my car?

I am a new member that lives a little east of Concord. Is it that you don't live nearby? I don't have any relationships at all over there, but would be willing to stop over there and talk with folks for you the next time I'm in that area. Let me know. Vince

I am a little out of the neighborhood (sunny Florida). Any assistance would be appreciated. Please send me a private message when you will be in the area and I will e-mail the details of the car. Also, if you know any of the local chapter guys, maybe mention the dealership to them to see if they know the family.

Not sure how to do the private post yet- just getting use to the format of the website. I'd be glad to help out. I just ordered the same info from NCRS and it's possible my car is from the same area. I have my 71 traced back to 73 to Hookset, NH where it was traded in to a Ford dealership that is now long gone. I know my car has spent the majority of it's life in that general Concord area. Al, I lived in NH for many years(now in FL also), and Banks had TV ads all the time. I believe they are still solvent as they are a big dealership.

If you don't get any info from them, you may want to try to contact someone at Corvette City in Manchester, aka (Lussier's(sp?) Corvette City). It's possible they may know something too, maybe a trade or ?. They were a Corvette only dealer for many years. Not sure if they're still around but I bought my '59 from them 25 years ago. 5 yeares later I went back and they gave me the prior owners' title. They bought and sold many cars over time. I did a quick google and found this listing from 2009....Here.
