Clauser Chevrolet, Kulpmont, PA

With the help of several on this forum, it appears that I have found my Dealer - Dealer Code 290 in Zone 49 is Clauser Chevrolet in Kulpmont, Pennsylvania. I have the address as 1149 W. Chestnut Street. If anyone can provide any additional information, I would greatly appreciate it!

Type the address into google maps you can check out the address of the old dealer.

Thanks for the photos! I did Googlemap the address and saw what was most likely the dealership in Google street view (except for the ^$#%$ 18 wheeler!).

I plan on contacting the local Historical Society and Library tomorrow.

All of the phone numbers for the Clausers listed on-line are no longer any good. Mr. Clauser Sr. died in 2007.

I got a guy checking for me he may have a dealer emblem and licesne plate frame from Clauser Chevrolet if he gives them to me there yours. Let you know.

Turns out that Dealer Code 290 in Zone 49 is NOT Clauser Chevrolet - it is Kleinfelter Chevrolet Co. in Jonestown, Pennsylvania. After a lot of dead ends, wrong turns and false starts, I finally tracked down and spoke to the original owner today! He confirmed the Dealer.

All I can say is never give up!
