Thanks to the NCRS I now know that my car was purchased new from Moore bros. Chevrolet-Olds in Tipton Indiana. My search in all likelihood will end here due to the fact that I found documentation confirming the dealership was sold and went through a name change six months after they sold my car.

Ernie, I just got a the shipping report for a '67 that originated there also. I checked a little deeper and found that the building is still there, but as you say dealership is gone. It's a pizza shop today. Go here and it's the only reference to Moore Brothers you will see in the world....

I would have never guessed that dealership would have been large enough to have sold more than one corvette in a year! Check your PM!
