I received my Shipping Data Report today and Joe Holland Chevrolet is listed as the original delivery dealer. Does anyone here know how big they were in early 1967 and if they sold many new Corvettes then. I was wondering if a new car trade with another Chevy dealer in New Jersey might have occurred based on other information I already had on the car's history. Thanks in advance. Jim

Re: Joe Holland Chevrolet - S. Charleston, WV - How big were they in early 1967?
Jim:
They were a pretty good sized dealership during this period, and they did sell quite a few Corvettes. Their showroom had room for about 5-6 cars, if I remember correctly. I remember seeing my first 1978 Corvette Pace Car in their showroom in late 1977.
I purchased my Z/28 from another WV Dealer, but used Joe Holland as my servicing dealer, as I thought they were the best around during this time period (1970's).
I believe that they are still in business at the same location.

Thanks Larry. I see that Joe Holland Chevrolet is still in business and has a web site that says they have been around for over 45 years. I might try to contact them and also WV's DMV for their title history although I read in an earlier post that they block out owner names. Thanks again, Jim- Top
