I located the second owner of my 72, pewter, coupe in NC last week who sold the car in 1989. I gave him a call, and to make a long story short, he was thrilled to talk to me and reminisce. I sent him pictures of what the car looks like now and developed a friendship. He's 70 now. Unfortunately he did not have any original paperwork for the car. In an effort to locate the first owner, he stated that he purchased the car from a person named "Alan" who belonged to The Huron Valley Corvette Club (part of the Nation Council of Corvette Clubs) in Michigan who purchased it from Art Moehn Cheverolet in Jackson, MI. I e-mailed the HVCC in an effort to locate "Alan". The HVCC did not e-mail me back as of yet. Hey, does anyone know "Alan"?
I called Art Moehn Chevrolet, who stated they destroyed the paperwork along time ago. "Alan" where are you?
