Ownership History want- Zone office ?

Trying to track down previous owners on my '63 and my shipping data report show delivery dealer was a Zone Office. Anyone had that come up before?

There are a few of those in the records. Zone office cars usually went to someone in the zone office for their use. After a period of time the cars were turned over to a nearby dealer for sale.

Thanks, that is what I assumed but have not been successful with that particular state for the cars first 14 years tracking down owners.

I worked at the Los Angeles Chevrolet Zone Office (Zone 15) as a area service manager in the early 70"s. You ordered your company car (and used for 3K miles) then they went to dealers in the zone as a "brass hat". You could purchase one of your company cars per year, and some zone empoyees were albe to get a corvette, however because of the limited Saint Louis production it was somewhat rare.
