I'll get back on the car next week. New bias ply's showed up today, radiator in the next few days, and then yank the fuel unit to see what lurks in there!

Good luck with your fuel unit, I have done that with a few that have sat for long periods of time, they are usually not pretty nor easily restored to working order. It will be an adventure, enjoy it.

Still looking for Mr. Walter Vail formerly of Pasadena, CA. I looked him up on Linkedin. The phone number reported there goes to a pizza joint. Any other leads? Mr. Vail is suspected to be the son of the original owner and the second owner.
