Help with my '69 history

I HAVE REACHED A DEAD END WITH MY SEARCH FOR ORIGINAL DELIVERING DEALER TO OBTAIN AUTHENTICITY, I HAVE FAIRLY LEGIBLE TANK STICKER BUT MISSING DEALER CODE INFO. TRIED SDR, CAME BACK WITH NO RESULTS CLAIMING COULD FIND NO RECORDS (GM HAD A 3 MOS. PRODUCTION PERIOD MISSING RECORDS MY '69 FELL INTO THIS PERIOD) VIN#194379s736171
SUGGESTIONS?

Can you make anything out in the dealer zone and code blocks?

Tough if nothing is visible in either the zone or dealer blocks. Ident won't help with this search. Any idea what state it came from? Some state still allow title searches. Have you googled the vin or checked the Corvette registries?

The NMVTIS site shows a report on your vin.

Just type your vin in and pay the $4.95 and see what they have.
They don't have dealer info, but they may lead you to another previous owner.
Or it may just show your ownership.

NMVTIS site did not give me anything new...any tips/sites to obtain state title search history, I believe car was delivered new by MI Chev Dealer, I looked on MI Sec/State site and the process looked ugly!
