Hello I just bought a 66 dealer album and stuck in one of the pages was a note pad paper with Ted Ewald Chevrolet Co Grosse Pointe Michigan as the header. it has a bunch of numbers written on it like a salesman was figuring out a sale price.

A quick google search shows the dealer shut its doors in 2003. Does anyone have any info on the dealer

I suspect you have a 66 Corvette so looked for an old ad. This is an ad from Sept 67, has original address and phone number.

Paul I bought the book becouse of my 66 Chevelle SS 396 that you saw at North East Md the other week. It was just cool to find that dealer note book paper in the book.

I bought the 284 Moross adress listed above in 2013. That was Ted Ewald's house. My family knew he and his wife, as well. I have contact with the children, but they have no records left. One of the daughters visited the house after we were in and I invited her out to see my '65 in the garage since I had found, and added, a Ted Ewald license frame. She said she remembered when the '63s came out they had one in the exact spot waiting for the official date when it could be shown in the dealership. They had taped newspaper on the garage windows to keep people from looking in.

George that is really cool and shows you how small of a world it is. I have no ties to the dealer ship or family I just thought it was cool to see that note book paper in the dealer album from that dealer ship
