Swc vin 30837s111291 request any help finding previous owners/car history

I recently purchased a '63 NOM coupe that was originally Tan/Saddle but is now Red/Black and has been that way at least since before the previous FL owner bought it near (I believe) Dallas, Texas in 2011. Now carbureted, but has a FI radiator support and emblems but not any documentation that it was originally a fuelie. Unfortunately the shipping info was damaged for a group of cars built in March 1963 so I don't even know the original dealer. Any help on the history of our dream car would be greatly appreciated.

Jim, if the car has the correct location of the fuel emblem, F.I. cars have a exact location, have one of your local chapter experts take a look, it should also have a high horse tachometer, the 63 only radiator support is a one year only, so this is another item to look at. My March car is 1106xx, I guess I was lucky to get my shipping data report. take a look at the toe boards and see if the is any other marking on them other than the job number. also check the C2 registry for your VIN. maybe some history there?? google your VIN and see what comes up. good luck Ed

First, make sure that it is a '63 FI support and not the 64-5 FI support that was used as a replacement for all 63-5 supports for a time.

I went back to double check your vin and could not find anything. Contrary to your statement we have the info on this group of cars but there is one car missing on each of three consecutive sheets and your is one of them. I looked for each of the other missing ones with no luck. I can tell you that the car before yours and the one after were build on March 22. Good luck.

Thanks for the clarification on the number search. By these numbers being absent, can this possibly mean anything about the one car on each of those three pages, or were the pages damaged? I have the Corvette Birthday Book that lists the 3/22 build date but haven't been able to find out anything else so far. Thanks again for any help, whether good or bad news.

It means the car was missing..the vin before and the vin after are there. If the car was invoiced the following month it gets on another sheet but if that happened we don't have the "other" sheet.
