Summerfield Chevy - Flint, MI - C2 Race & Engineering Corvettes

Was Summerfield Chevrolet Zone 01, Dealer # 544 in Flint, Michigan in the 1960’s C2 era involved in Corvette racing and/or did they get Corvettes for Chevrolet Engineering or Shop/Work Orders?

Gary, I never heard of Summerfield Chevrolet being involved in racing but I did hear they sold a lot of hi performance corvettes in there day. I have a 66 427 car that sold new there. I have been looking for information on this dealer for years. Not much out there.

Summerfield Chevrolet from 1966. What gave you the impression that Summerfield was involved in racing? I have followed many dead ends with former employees mechainics/sale people and never found out much about the dealer. Please let me know if you ever find out more information would love to know.

Matt: guessing you don't have the Publisher Extra subscription. That's how they keep getting us to pay more. 509 ads in the Detroit Press which is part of the Publisher Extra. Paul

Of course.....Quite a few names listed in the ads also that perhaps you can search for
