All: I am usually on the other end of these posts trying to assist members with dealer info. Can anyone help identify Dealer for zone 44 Dealer code 160? Later on in 1983 this code belonged to Gordon Chevrolet. I need to find out what dealer had this code during the 60's - early 70's? I'm sure it was also a Michigan Dealer. NCRS does not have the earlier info. Any assistance is appreciated.

Check the dealer code again. In the late 70's there was no zone 44 and dealer code 160. If there was the dealer last name would probably start with a G.
You are correct Zn 44 is Michigan. Does not mean 44-160 did not exist in the 60-early 70's. Only one dealer had a code in the 160's. That would be Gratz Chevrolet 600 Main street, in Dowagiac, Michigan (44-166)

NCRS report came back with zone 44 code 160. They also wrote they thought it would be Gordon Chev. However the car is a 66 Corvette.

Gordon Chevrolet is currently located in Garden City, Michigan as noted in your message above, Call them and ask about their dealership history/dealer code (past and present). Number is 877 626-2496.

Yep, did that about a week ago, they have been there since 1983. Before Gordon they were Stewart Chev but also weren't around in the 60's or early 70's and were in Woodhaven Mich on Allen Rd and different dealer Code. Prior to Gordon being in the location they are it was occupied by Gene Merollis Chev but they were code 329. Only thing that will prove to be accurate with be a document that shows the zone and dealer.
