Looking for Dealer Code and Zone, Jacsksonville Florida.
I am the second owner of a 1973 Corvette coupe 454 / 4-speed 953 Metalic Yellow that was delivered too and sold by Edward F. Connell Chevrolet, 8725 Arlington Expressway, Jacksonville, FL. ,32211. Dealership is no longer in business. I have the customer copy of the GM inspection report (GSD 99 Rev. 4/72) that is dated 8-2-73 and signed by Gene, technician 33. Car was purchased by first owner off the showroom floor and delivered 9/18/1973. I have all the origional Warranty papers. I purchased the car in Ganesville, FL in January 1980.
Eward F. Connell Chevrolet, Inc. was incorporated 5/7/1968 and the last activitly date was 9/3/1976. That is all I know about this dealership. A copy of the build sheet (tank sticker) may still be on the car and I've really nerver looked for it. The dealership inspection propcedure, single page, has all the virtal information on; trim and paint number, vehical ID, engine and transmission number, axle number and some dealer information. Dealer stock numer was 14195 and Repair service order no 4378.
I'm looking for the Dealer Code and Zone, Edward F. Connell, Jacsonville, FL. With that, I may be able to run down the dealer order sheet on St. Louis for the car, if that is possible. Or can I do that with the Vin Number? I do not have a copy of the window sticker. Any further info on this out of business dealer wil be appreciated.
