Since 1964 corvette info is not available, does anyone know or have information on dealer info for Bob Coyle Chevrolet in San Jose, CA? Dealer is no longer in business. I have the original OPP booklet but it does not give codes.

Re: Looking for dealer code Bob Coyle Chevrolet
BOB COYLE was a SCCA Corvette racer in the Northern California, San Francisco Region # 33. He raced in the 1961-66 era I believe. Paul Reinhart and Joe Freitas may remember him as the were fellow competitors. I never knew he was a Chevrolet Dealer. Did you check with Tim Gilmore who now handles the NCRS Shipping info?Over 80 Corvettes of fun ! Love Rochester Fuel Injection 57-65 cars. Love CORVETTE RACE CARS

Re: Looking for dealer code Bob Coyle Chevrolet
I lived in Fremont (just north of San Jose) for over 50 years and remember Bob Coyle Chevrolet in San Jose. If memory serves me correctly, it was on North First Street in the mid ‘60’s. They also sponsored drag cars that ran at Fremont Raceways. It later became Coyle-Billings Chevrolet in the early 70’s and then Billings Chevrolet in Milpitas.
The dealer code database shows Bob Coyle Chevrolet as Zone 6, Dealer number 159.- Top

Bob Coyle, Coyle-Billings, Billings, and Courtesy Chevrolet, all of San Jose were big supporters of racing in the San Francisco Bay Area during the 60's & 70's.
Their address was 1732 North 1st Street in San Jose.

Paul------
I remember it well. They moved from there a VERY long time ago and I think that building has been demolished and "redeveloped". They became "Coyle-Billings" and moved to Milpitas, not really too far from the original showroom. However, that closed many years ago now and I think the building is just an "idle hulk".In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
