I am interested in learning about Clark Maple Chevrolet in Chicago. I own a Nassua Blue /Blue 65 coupe with 365hp L76 motor, AC and factory 4.56 differential. Also the car has a teakwheel, tele column, and PW. This is an unusual and rare combination. I know history back to about 1978 when the car was bought by a private party in the Chicago area. Any help in contacting dealership employees, owners prior to 1978 or any info about this car will be appreciated. Bill Gould 508-272-0245 billygould@comcast.net

Re: Clark-Maple Chevrolet in Chicago 1965 Corvette 365hp AC factory 4.56
Bill,
They started in 1946 at 1038 N. Clark and at some point changed their name to Action Chevrolet. It appears they dissolved in the 80's
Also, found the following link and woman claims when she was six years old she went to the dealership; grew up in the area; maybe she would have pictures; know people if still around associated - https://about.me/wendivnRick Aleshire

Tom, Thanks for the help. I spoke with Joe who is going to ask around. He has an old friend who ordered a similar 65 coupe from Clark Maple Chevrolet but abandoned that and bought a car elsewhere. Joe is a good lead. Thanks!!!- Top

Erik, Nothing new from Clark Maple. I did find the name of a woman who worked in the office in the mid 60's but I am having trouble finding her. Bill Gould- Top
