I'm trying to research the history of my 67 roadster, and have got back to 1989, when the car was purchased in the Louisville Kentucky area, by a fellow named Robert Keplinger, he told me that he found it in someone's yard with a wrecked front end. The car was silver from the factory, but may have been painted green at the time , he installed a new front end and painted it red. I have done the dealer search and the car was originally sold in Baltimore Maryland. I know it's a long shot , but just thought someone from that area may remember the car, and help me get a bit further back. Any leads would be appreciated.

Re: 67 roadster sold in Louisville Kentucky, 1989
Dave,
Baltimore, MD. I believe is the home of A.D. Anderson Chevrolet and they sold a lot of Corvettes. They are still in business and very helpful when people call for information. Give it a shot and you won't be disappointed.

PS. A friend of mine called them not too long ago and got the shock of his life. They had his original motor and transmission. WOW! They were glad to offer him the motor and trans for his Corvette. They are united again! Oh, did I say it was a 66 Coupe 36 gal. tank and 427CI. 425HP?? It was and is again today!!!!!- Top

Re: 67 roadster sold in Louisville Kentucky, 1989
A.D. Anderson Chevrolet was located on Edmonson Avenue in Baltimre and they are LONG out of business, unfortunately. And, yes they were the Corvette dealership in the area similar to Nickey. Now, there is an Anderson dealership still around, and they may be able to help.
