    Question about my 71' origin - GM Proving Grounds

    Based on the information obtained through NCRS....my 1971 base 270hp convertible was originally delivered to GM Engineering Office, Michigan Proving Ground...(based on Dealer code 502 / Zone 0).

    My question is...why would my Corvette have been shipped to the GM Engineering Proving Grounds?
