I am a first time user so please bare with me.
Can anyone give me any information regarding this dealership?

Does anyone know if this dealership was known to sell many BB Corvette's?
i have seen a few BB mainly 65's and 66's from this dealership noted on NCRS
shipping reports.

they were renowned for the c-2 corvettes they sold in the 60's. i had a 65 396 that came from them. mike

Hi Rick, no they were in Baltimore Maryland.

If you notice I said in the Baltimore/DC area - everyone went there to buy all their hot rod parts - similar to Nickey in Chicago, etc.

They were also known for there parts department having all the good engines and other high performance parts.

Hi Mike, it's Rob from Canada, Rocco's buddy the guys with the heroine beer as you and KC call it. We met at the Florida Regional in Lakeland.
i also have a 396 that came from AD Anderson. What colour was yours?
We are coming to Carlisle in a few weeks hope to see you and KC.

my old 65 roadster is blue/blue. 37K original miles.i sold it to roy sinor about year ago. currently finishing a full resto of a blue/blue 396 coupe. doubt we'll at carlisle. KC's dad passed this past sunday. he'd busy tying up the details.we will be at charlottes and frank buck's place for a MAC tech session later this month. mike

My car is coupe blue/ blue which I An in the midst of putting final touch's on.

A D Anderson was THE Corvette dealer in Baltimore. I moved to Baltimore in 1972. Anderson's sponsored the Corvette Club of Baltimore back then. Club meetings were held at the dealership.

Ken Jestes and Vern Bessling ran the parts department. Ken is retired living in Tennessee now.

"Chip" Hosfeld (sp?) ran the dealership, and IIRC the Hosfeld (sp?) family owned the dealership. It was on Rt. 40, Edmondson Avenue in Baltimore. That area went down hill fast after the Baltimore riots. Don't remember when the dealership closed.

They sold a TON of Corvettes back then. If you look at old Corvette magazines from the 60's, they are FULL of A D Anderson ads.
