Amherst, WI : Kirsling Motor Company

Anyone know anything about this small-town Chevrolet dealer? How about a 72 Elkhart green/saddle leather coupe with LS5, 4-speed, ac, tilt/tele, steering, brakes, power windows? Sold there, lived in Wisconsin Rapids, WI area for 15-20 years.

      Thanks, Rick.
found that, researched whereabouts of sons, left messages, and neither returned phone calls.

Mike - there is a listing for a truck transport company that is owned/managed by a Cathy Kirsling - not sure if that would be of any relationship?????

But they are/were located in Amherst, WI - http://www.mycarpro.org/Trucking-Com...g-Wolding-Inc/

          Rick,
Thanks! I went through the Amherst librarian. She gave me a gentleman at T&T automotive which used to operate in the old Kirsling building. He gave me Alan Kirsling's phone number at H.O Wolding. The son of a friend of mine used to drive for them, and when I asked him about the individual, he said "he'll never call you back. He doesn't return anybody's calls." I'll keep trying without being a pest. At least for now--then maybe become a pest later.

Alan K called back. His brother was the salesman. Alan gave me name and phone number for original owner. I contacted him, and he gave me the name of the guy he sold it to. Original owner kept all the documents. The guy who leased his building cleaned out filing cabinets (unauthorized) and threw everything away.
