Researching C2 History in Canada

There is some evidence that my '66 has spent some of its' years in Canada so I'd like to continue my research there. Anyone here have experience with the Canadian BMV? If so, how successful were you? Also, phone numbers and points of contact would be appreciated.

There is no Canadian BMV. Vehicles in Canada are registered by each provincial or territorial government. If it was an Ontario vehicle you may have some luck by contacting the MTO (Ministry of Transportation Ontario) and trying to obtain a Vehicle Abstract. http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dan.../getinfo.shtml

If the car was originally sold in Canada then contact GM Vintage Services in Oshawa Ontario. They have a wealth of information about individual cars that were sold in Canada. I was able to get information from them for my son in law's '78 Corvette that included build date, options, and dealer it was shipped to. http://www.vintagevehicleservices.com/options.html
