Washington Motor Company - Abingdon, VA
My 1962 was delivered new by the Washington Motor Company in Abingdon, Virginia (Zone 22, Dealer 687). Apparently the dealership still exists, but has changed hands and names. It is now known as Pioneer Chevrolet. I did contact the new dealership and they said they would see if anyone there could provide any further information or photos of the original dealership, but so far I have heard nothing back. Does anyone recall the original dealer (Washington Motor Company) or have any photos or other material?
