    Tri-power aircleaner screen ????

Wonder if someone can send me a picture of how an original air cleaner screen should look like for
    Tri-power 427/435hp.
I am looking for one and need the right information on what it should look like .
Have read the judging manual for 1968 but need more info.
    Thanks for all help

I will agree that the description in th JG is not that clear. How do you count the circles on the screen?

Attached are some picture of the screen on my car. I've always thought it was original but I'd like to hear some comment from others.

Looked at my original L68 set-up off a late '69 [the only C3 parts I have] and the screen looks exactly like the pics. The overlap junction is taken at one of the tri-corners. On the inside edge band, those crimping indentations are also there. As far as the holes, I don't know what the '68-9 TIM&JG says, but there's a total of 3 rows of holes; however, like the pics, there's about a third of a hole on one edge (top or bottom) and the balance of a hole (ie. 2/3 rds) on the other edge. This can vary slightly as you go around the perimeter (ie. 1/4 and 3/4).
