I am getting close to putting the body back on my chassis and was wondering if anyone had any tips about which major items to install before or after this reunion. In particular I was wondering whether I should go ahead and install the core support, radiator and shroud before lowering the body onto the chassis since I had such a difficult time removing the radiator and shroud. Also what about the front bumper and brackets, but this may add too much weight to the nose. It's just that it is very easy to work on the car/engine bay in its current state and I know that will not be the case post reunion. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Re: questions about body to chassis reunion
Put the radiator in after drop (easy job with 2 people). Core support before drop. Headlight buckets and motors, tail lights, backup lights wiring before drop. Bumpers must go on after drop as the brackets etc. protrude thru the grille and lower valence and fenders.
Leave the fan off to make it easier to install shroud and radiator.
Another hint, Drop body in a nose high attitude. Install rearmost body anchor bolts loosely as soon as practical before drop is complete. Then finish body drop. Rear bolts will align/control drop so that nothing touches on the firewall, etc. I did body drop with 1 other helper and had no problems or damage.- Top

Re: questions about body to chassis reunion
Cleet,
Check out this video from the Michigan NCRS on the body drop on a 67 BB roadster. It's pretty good!
It looks like a good excusse for a party.... and may require a few cold beverages AFTER the drop is complete!
Good luck to you and let us know how it goes.
