    Bill;

    Thanks for posting the photos. It was nice to meet you in person, and congratulations again on you successful PV. I see you captured some of your favorite C-3's, including the best for last. I'm glad you got a shot of the Mad Max car so others can see this prototype of a future anti-anarchy Vette, Ha!

    I hope all of our fellow members from distant places are able to make it home safely, and happy that we were able to provide them with some good Florida weather with which to thaw out a bit.

        Thanks for posting, Bill. I'm envious of the sunshine and apparent warm temps!

        Also, and more importantly, congratulations on the successful PV!

          Bill, I noticed the Silver LT-1 that you photo'd. Do you recall the color? It looks like my '72 LS-5 that is pewter silver. I like the color (obviously because I have one) and rarely see any. Nice car, I hpe you had fun while we freeze here in the north east!!!

            Mr. PV,

            Congratulations on a job well done! Do I see a Duntov Award for you in the near future? The car looked and "performed" simply perfect!
            Sure was nice talking with you, and I hope things worked out with you and Gary!

            Oh, great pictures too!

            Regards,

            Kevin

              At least I recognize 3 people in your set of pictures - I didn't recognize any in the previous thread.

              So are we allowed to make comments on things that are "not typical of factory production" on any of the cars?

                Bill,
                Thanks for posting. Between the NCRS event and the Mecum auction I believe I am now car drunk.

                  Bryan;

                  Do they call that Car Drunk or Car High? I think it's the latter as it takes longer to come down from and has a heck of a hangover. Oh ya, you forgot to mention the 24 hour Daytona Race nearby too. We sure do have a lot to do with our toys here in Florida about this time of the year. I'm still on that high as I went out cruising with the top down tonight (better sound effects).

                        Stu,
                        Car high does sound better. Yes, the weather was perfect Friday and Saturday. We did run into a few sprinkles on the way back to P-cola on Sunday.
                        I did not get to go for a cruise when I got back to Pensacola but I continued the "high" by detailing my LT-1 and comparing notes that I took of the 72 LT-1 that was being judged and the two 72 LT-1's with a/c at the auction.

                        I got to talk to the new owner of a sweet little 68 silver convertible small block with a/c. The engine compartment looked pretty original and guess what, no idle solenoid set-up for the a/c. His told me his winning bid was $28,000 and he was bidding against Proteam. He also said that he was considering driving the car back home to Colorado

                          Talking about Mad Max. The original was filmed only a few miles from my old house in Aust. I still remember the black circle that toe cutter left on the road from his Kawasaki 1000 in the film. Mel Gibsone was just a boy back then, not sure if he was even 20 years old. I still would like to know how a switch starts a super charger while the car is running. I think thats what you call Bull s....t.

                            Listen pal, no comments from the peanut gallery. With the expert judges present, I'm sure all appropriate 'ntfp' deductions were noted. Where were you?

                              This was my first trip to the Florida Regional, it was a fantastic show. Best NCRS event I have been to. Plenty to do for the family and a great venue. I will be attending again. Great job Florida NCRS members. Shopping for the Wife, amusement park for the kids and a Top Flight for me.

                              Thanks
