That's an easy fix. Simply don't blackout your new panels once your car is repaired.

      Yep, Harry nailed it, Frank.

Okay, Yesterday myself and 2 friends drove about 2 hours each way and spent about 6 hours at Ian's place. He has a enormous warehouse full of NOS, Used, Corvette and Camaro and Chevelle parts and 5+ full size 53' shipping containers full of C1. C2. C3 parts too. Fun trip.

But sorry, no '63 white glass lower front valence. He did have many other used C2/C3 body pieces and a decent array of original and C2/C3 NOS GM fiberglass.

PS FYI.....(Chuck I'm sorry for the highjack, but you'll probably want this info eventually too)'

Ian Johnston, Groveland, FL 352-429-5695 ianjohnston@hughes.net
Ian was at the Lakeland Winter Regional selling there but only had about 0.5% of his parts there.
I suggested to Ian that he do a Driveline ad but he said he's so busy with many calls each day it'd be too much to handle alone. When we left he said he had 57 calls to return.

PPS ....For all of you guys that contacted me by PM or email, I had a big list to check for you, but sorry, struck out on all counts.

However I scored pretty good, unexpectedly. Ian had 8 NOS '67 Rally Wheel Center caps, and a bunch of nice used original center ornaments. We got all 8 caps(4 for me) and I got 4 really nice used original ornaments to go with mine, these with a great gold hue in the center circular area on each. I'm putting a nice Rally wheel set together for a buddy in NH.

        Quick pics....

Thanks for checking, Rich, and thanks for posting the additional information for others who might be looking for treasures.

            Harry,

I'm going to have to disagree with you on that statement. I think 63's and later did receive some blackout in the center of the inside lower panel. The ends on both sides were usually left bare. It was not intentional to paint the lower panel but as the front inner wheel well panels were being painted the lower panel was not masked off.
Yes, I know you wear a Black Hat but from owning several C-2 there have been some evidence of paint on all of the two dozen plus mid years.

JR, I think we are saying the same thing. The front valance was not a target for complete blackout but over spray did hit that area. Both from exterior paint and the blackout process.
