Mine is a 20 ft. slope nose, purchased from Trailer World. Ask for Keith. Tell him Ed Nieves from Miami sent you. He's a good guy and I found them to be honest and reasonable. They are located in Bowling Green. These trailers are perfect for Corvettes, because they have a very low wheel well box inside. Get the 10,000 axel.

Joel, I can't speak on the Versa system because I have never used them. I have both the D-rings and e-track and I like the flexibilty the tracks gives me. With two side door, I have no problems using any tiedown system. I use over the wheel straps that are designed for low profile cars. I purchased them from Autohaulerssupplies.com. Here is the link and some pictures. They are very easy to use. I'm attaching a pciture of my rear wheels being secure through the rim and the fronts were secure with over the wheel straps. This is the best of two worlds. . http://www.autohaulersupply.com/cata...plies-83-1.php

Joel, since I have never had an enclosed trailer, i can't really address your question. Those with the side doors don't appear to have a problem.

Definetly John !! i am always looking 5 cars ahead of me to see who is braking. that motto has saved me many times.

Always check your straps after 25 miles of driving and at each gas/food stop. I have hauled many cars and a lot of heavy machinery, tying it down as tight as I thought I could and about 10% of the time when I checked it the first time the straps could be tightened some more. Have always crossed straps to keep the load from moving and have never had one move.

                  Matt,
Good luck with your new trailer!

I've been holding onto these pictures waiting for a post just like this one! This is not a joke! I happened upon this situation when I arrived at a Regional a couple years ago. This fellow was about to unload his car from his enclosed trailer, untied the straps, then moved the tow vehicle forward (not sure why). Well, you can see the emergency brake was not engaged and the car was in neutral! It rolled out of the trailer! After a little quick thinking, some 6 x 6, a floor jack and a wench they were able to lift the car back into the trailer. This was the result of being to anxious about his upcoming attempt at a PV, (which he passed). The car wasn't damaged badly, had some paint scraped and dented pipes.

My point, take your time, think about your every move. SAFETY FIRST! Best of luck in Bowling Green!

                    Matt..WOW! What a nice trailer.

Hauling cars just takes time. You can't be in a hurry driving, strapping down the car, putting the car in and out or even hooking up the rig. Just have to pay attention to what your doing.

The problems I have heard about are usually due to lack of attention...eg driving with the radio blasting, not stopping to check on tie downs etc.

So be safe and good luck with your new trailer.

I will be in Bowling Green also so maybe if I see you..I might get a tour of your trailer.

Very NICE trailer....I am jealous as heck...That is very similar to the one I have been flirting with for a year or so. Out of curiosity, what is your tow vehicle?

Thanks for the kind words about my car. I am very proud of it. It did quite well at the show, I was flattered...and met some great guys there too...Sherm and Stamper...and others...Great show...
Good luck with your trailer...you will be the envy of a lot of car guys when you pull up in that one...Sounds like your truck will have no problems towing the trailer..I was curious as I don't feel like buying a different vehicle to tow the trailer...yet....
                            Regards
