    67 big block info

This mid-year illiterate (but reasonably experienced with 62 and earlier) guy has a friend who wants me to go with him to look at a 67 coupe big block with air. Non-original motor. What are the tell-tale signs for a big block car vs. small block. I have almost every judging manual except 67, so my apologies if this is something that's overly obvious to everyone else.
    Thanks!
    Mike

Large copper radiator, no surge tank, rear antisway bar, no 5500 rpm tach, boltd rsther than uclamps on the u joints at the stub axles on the rear differential, look for original hood, protectoplate? and oh yes, must be red and a convertible!

I think the BB steel fuel line along the RH frame rail also extends farther forward than on an SB. Since this fuel line is not easy to change w/o removing the body, it can be the best sign that the car is not a made up BB.

bb + battery cable has extra "J" clamp on pass side firewall. 3 instead of 2 as in sb's. mike

speaking of the battery, it will be located on the left side with an access plate in the fender well for removal. This is also true of SB cars with A/C.

Should not be an AO Smith body, they never got the stinger stripe correct so only small blocks came from this plant. Could be an exception if a very early car.

I disagree with Bill. Must be Marina Blue and a Coupe.
