66 BB firewall clips

This is a Dec 65 BB car. Does anyone have a photo of the firewall clips on the pass side? Same as 67?

John -- until you get a better pic from others, here's one from a friend's '66 L72 # 219xx, currently under restoration (which explains the sanding dust ).

John -- yes, I'd say it's another clip, as shown in Steve's pic. Just to muddy the waters, here's from my late 396, posted for a similar clip discussion last Nov [link follows].

The speedo cable is shown in its correct clip, which is different than the 2 others (for the +ve battery cable). Yours is not an air car, right ? And is it A.O.Smith or St.Louis ?

Usually, the number and location co-ordinates of these firewall clips are shown in the AIM.

This car is owned by my buddie and we got it in pieces. He is of the opinion that there was one clip on earlier BB cars and two on the later ones, like the two from you and Steve. We have the AIM and I can't remember what it shows, but if it agrees with what you've shown we should go with those clips in those locations.

Is that a third clip right beow those two hose clamps. The speedo cable clip is interesting.

No, just the two clips. One for the speedo cable and the other for the starter wiring harness.
