    1967 Directional Signal Flasher issue.. Tung-Sol #323.

    Good evening.
I tested a Tung-Sol #323 (with split nipple and no DOT) and it works fine in my 67 L-79.

I gave this flasher to another 67 owner, however in his car only the left side flashes but the right side does NOT flash. Although, an aftermarket flasher in the other owners 67 works flawlessly (right or left).

What would cause this disparity as the flasher works fine in my 67? Could this possibly be due to a more modern light bulb(s) on the right side of the other owners 67, requiring more flasher output in order to perform properly?

Any / all input is appreciated as I went through pages of the NCRS technical archives but could not locate this exact scenario.
