    1972 -Strange noise

    Good morning everyone,

    The weather was nice yesterday and I to the car out for several hours. One of the things I noticed was I have an occasional sound from the rear of the car that sounds like a flap closing. Has anyone else experienced this and what could be the culprit?

      Hi Glen,
      Is it possible you were hearing the astro-vent doors right behind you closing and opening? They operate like a 'flap'.
      Adjusting the temperature control wheel on your heater control regulates the doors.

          That's what I would've guessed too, Glen... astro ventilation louvers maybe.
