57 tan soft top bow color
I am restoring a 57 tan soft top and frame. Body color is Aztec Copper and Beige coves and interior. Page 26 of Tech. Info. Manual & JG states that ( bows are painted to match soft top headliner color). By the table listing my early 57 should be all beige. My Al Knoch new top exterior and pads are tan as I recall the orig color ( I am orig. owner ). Interior of top is an off-color grayish tint tan which does not match. Should the bows really be beige to match the beige body color which is much lighter? If this is true were only the center of bows between pads painted to match ? A black replacement top was installed in 1966 and I don't recall bow color.
