    1968 427 quadrajet

I'm still in the process of attempting to restore a 7028209 quadrajet for my 68. The core that I bought years ago had an incorrect choke linkage on it. Since that time , most of the 209 carbs that I've seen also have what I call the small block choke arm on them. I was able to purchase what I believe to be the correct choke duckbill arm, but it had been modified at some point in its life. The modification obliterated the last two numbers of the stamped part number. I've welded up the hole and now want to attempt to recreate the number before I have it plated. I am looking for a picture of the choke arm that clearly shows what the correct Rochester part number was. I've been told that it was RP 35888, but I'd like to verify before I stamp some numbers. I also believe a 7028216 carb for an automatic equipped car would also have the same choke arm on it. Thanks for any help and Happy New Year to all, John Brough
