1965 396 drag car
I have a 65 BB that was bought new by Arthur Rosser at George Miller Chevrolet in St Louis in May of 1965 . It was a Maroon with black int. Conv. hard top only ,side exhaust , black walls & no radio .Mr Rosser had a shop in Fenton MO. It was only used for Drag racing until Feb. 1968 when it was sold to Dale Barnhart of Catawissa Mo . Dale worked for Mr Rosser and did much of the driving , Mr Barnhart put it back into street trim .Dale sold it in Oct of 1968 to Larry Calloway of St. Louis .Larry sold it In Dec. 1969 when he was drafted. It was sold to George Greeney in Houston Mo. who spun a bearing & hit a deer , it was last driven in 1973 , I bought it in April of 1980 .It has always been in the St. Louis area . It was drag raced in Mo.and Il. Does anyone remember seeing it race or know any of the past owners . I talked with everyone except Mr. Rosser about 1984 but have not been able to find them now .
