I'm having trouble with my driver side door on my 67 convertible. Door panel is off so I watched the window travel and put lithium grease on the 'roller' parts and it helped some. When the window is in the fully lowered position it is very hard to roll up, for about a quarter turn then it gets hard again for another quarter turn the it is very easy/smooth the rest of the travel. I can't see a problem. Any ideas?

Re: Window sticks
Is the spring rusty? Does it make a noise when rolling down? You make need to replace the spring in the crank mechanism.- Top

Re: Window sticks
No noise when rolling up or down. The regulator seems fine and smooth after the first partial turn of the crank. Can it be that I could adjust the vent window lower position to widen the space which would relieve pressure/tension. The window is tight in the channels, from top to bottom. It does not wobble at all. I am thinking it is binding at the lowest position.Brad Davenport

Re: Window sticks
Bradley, I agree that the window might be binding near the bottom of the window channel. Before you make an adjustment to the vent window, try tightening the screws on the side/jamb of the door that secures the rear track. Even if you only get a quarter turn on the screw, it might be just enough to relieve the pressure on the window. That would be an easy fix! Once you mess with the vent window, you might open a can of worms (gap to the windshield; fit to the soft top; etc.). I recently had my vent windows rechromed, so I speak from experience. I'm not saying it can't be done, but tweak the vent window only after you try tightening the rear track screws. Good luck, Roger- Top
