    Question 1964 L84 Pad

I have a 1964 L84 I have owned for 14 years. It was a top flight car twice in the late 80s (I assume judging was not as rigorous) and the engine pad has always looked good on casual inspection. I am now questioning whether or not it was born an RF. I would help me and be appreciated if a couple of owners of original cars would post pictures of their 64 L84 engine pad stampings. Please crop any photos you have as I don't need the vin derivative, just the Flint engine code portion. The car is stored but later this coming week I will get a proper shot of the pad with a good Macro lense, measure the flatness of the pad with a straight edge and feeler gage and carefully check backside of the front fenders to see if crossed flag emblem holes were ever filled. If altered I suspect it started out as an RE.
