1968 Installing a 1969-72 tilt/tele column in a 68!
I have a customer who when he bought his 68 big block 35 years ago was tall and thin...He isn't any shorter, but he needs some room for his girth.
Of course, there is not tilt column in 68 an even a tele column might not solve the issue. Can anyone tell me wheter a later model tilt/tele column will bolt right in? I would like to avoid modifying the dash, though if I have to modify the firewall...that isn't a big deal, I think.
If I do this, I also need a neat idea to do something with the dash located key spot...maybe an ignition cut-off.
