Doors can be numbered on C2s; they are not numbered on C3s. Blair has a 68.

104 on this one, plus the TH400 bump out.

Thanks Michael for the picture - although I am not too sure what is the purpose of the bump out. Without going under the car to look - is it for extra clearance??? An engineering defect - not enough room for the TH400 when installed??? Thanks

Yes it is for clearance. If you ever see a TH400 next to a Muncie the reason will be clear. If you have a 1968-1972 AIM (may also be true in later years, but WTFDIK) all you have to do is look in the M40 section.

If you ever sit in the passenger seat of an M40 equipped Corvette you will notice that bulge. It intrudes into the passenger foot well a lot. Original passenger side carpet is molded to fit that bulge. Reproductions are not, and thus the carpet fit of the repros in that area sucks.

Thanks Terry, again - another lesson learned.

My Tank Sticker Pencil Number is "475" with last 3 Vin Numbers "976".
              475 + 500 = 975 and 1 number below VIN.

That's great, just like it should be. Have you had NCRS validate that tank sticker yet?

Here is another tank sticker with the same 269 job number the Stephen L. posted but about 999 cars before his. Looks like the handwriting on both 269 numbers is identicalxx771 Job#269.jpg

Page, do you have any further details on this car? My business partner owned the delivering dealership. Further, I have so far identified 52 of the 67 L71s delivered in Canada, do not have this one and would like to add it. Thanks.

My 68 tank sticker shows 389, my VIN ends in 900. Everything else on the sticker lines up flawlessly with the car. Wouldn't this be 11 cars out ? Is that possible ?039.jpg
