Emergency Break Console Restoration '68

Thought I would bring this back to the top of the discussion as some may be curious about the change in construction of the 68 brake console and the seat belt pockets.

Here is an interesting comparison of the emergency brake console of how and when those seat buckle inserts were removed from production. The date on the later (original and actual GM copy) AIM had the inserts removed, per the revision of 11-1-67. I guess when they became moulded into the console.
